I’m not a big tech guy but I was just thinking could the new IR technology on the Iphone x be used to digitize 3d objects? Just a thought.
what if you 3d printed a digital image of you and could it then unlock your phone?
why use IR.
You can do pretty much that with pictures already.
This brings up an interesting point. I’m needing to digitize a life cast bust of myself for scaling 3D printed helmets. I’ve seen the lazy susan/take a bunch of pics from different angles approach. I don’t need a lot of detail/resolution, just enough to make a life sized digital model.
