For those with a new MacBook Pro (M1 chip) who are having trouble with getting carves to complete, the Inventables staff told me it’s an issue with the Easel driver and the M1 chip. They also said they are working on a new driver. They will. They have never failed me. In the meantime though, I tried forcing Safari to open using Rosetta, Apple’s built-in Intel chip emulator, and then going to the Easel site. My carves started working fine again!! I’m going to keep my eye on it, but so far so good. I’ll download the new driver when it comes out, but until then, thank you to the Inventables team member who helped steer me in the right direction and thanks Apple for including Rosetta as part of the delivered new MacBook OS.
