It was more of a “crop” than a “resize”. The hole placements didn’t move the overall length of the part got shorter.

I was just wondering about something related to the X-controller upgrade. Specifically, the available data says that the drivers are capable of driving the stepper motors with 4 amps of current. But, if I recall correctly, the stepper motors are only rated at 2.5 amps. So doesn’t this create a potential problem where the drivers could burn out the steppers by sending too much current?
Failure to set it up properly is, by no means, the only thing that can go wrong with an electronic device.
