New x-carve, need help, motors will not move during setup

Just got done putting the x-carve 1000 together. Try to run the easel setup and can’t get the motor to jog. But the z -axis motor will just move at random. All the homing switches work when I check them with my finger along with the buttons on the front. Not sure what the “door” message is about, no door on it. lol…
