I want to make some cheese boards and will be using 1/2" hardwood mostly Mesquite and Walnut. What type and size bit should I use.
Without more detail of what you’re trying to accomplish it’s tough to say, but I’d say a 1/4", two flute, upcut would be a good start.
Thanks for the info I will purchase on and give it a try. I want to be able to cut the cheese board completely out of a piece of mesquite that is 1/2" thick and 8" X 12" in size.
