Noobie here w/ 1000 x 1800 from the aviation community :)

CNC for avaition stuff is cool, I fly sailplanes and have made a couple of navigational flight computers utilizing the CNC capabilities for the housing. Love it :slight_smile:
Recessed mounting frame milled from 15mm aluminium stock.
Havent tried milling out panel plates yet but maintainance season have just started… :wink:

Any idea what to do (current Day) with non existing 1800mm makerslides? Anyone know why they stopped selling them? Can you add the 750 to the end with some minor shaving to make it slide nice?

@KevinCarlson I think I responded to another post of yours just a moment ago… The solution now is to use Linear Guide Rails attached to any T-Slot 2040, 4040, or what ever size extrusion to make your own makerslide. The final profile will work on the gantry and Y axis… This is a valid work around.
