Not too bad

So I bought myself Vcarve desktop for Christmas. This is my first attempt at a carve, it came out okay. I’m by far a sports fan of any sort, but I like the eagle so decided to design the home sign. Hopefully having this software my X-carve wont be any more than a place to put stuff on.

Looks great. What bits did you use?

I used a 1/4" end mill to rough out the pocket and a 60° v bit for the remaining.

Cool. Thanks. I have to order myself a collet for my 60°. I got a 6mm shank by mistake. Cheers. Good work

Just received my x controller yesterday. Stoked to get to trying some things like this… although they won’t be at all sports related. Great work.

You did a great job. Keep going. You will have to keep at the software if you don’t you could forget some of the key features in the software.

Thanks Phil on your glazing tips. It didn’t come out too bad for my first try. Still need to put a finish coat on it.
