One of my engines stopped working

One of my engines stopped working.
Left engine.
I checked all the electrical contacts - everything is connected.

the video shows that the left engine does not work, but the right one works

Support is silent.
You can’t get through the phone - only answering machines.
The letters are not answered.

did anyone face such a problem?

Try turning power off, swap your left and right connectors at the controller, power on.
Does the left motor still not work?

Swapped places. The problem is the same.
Something with the engine.

It’s pretty rare for a stepper to go bad. Triple check wiring. Do you have conductivity at both ends of wires?

I made a mistake with the connectors. Changed it correctly now.
The engine is working. Something with the wiring.

I don’t have a tester to check it
can you advise which tester to buy?

Usually is. So it’s working?

maybe the microcircuit breaks down?
wires are not visually damaged
and I reinstalled them - didn’t help

So it’s not working?
When you swapped wires at the controller, the left one still did not work?
Is it “trying” to move? Check the shaft.

When switching controllers, the left stepper started working, and the right one, respectively, stopped working.
I checked the wires with a tester - they are not damaged.

:frowning:
That sounds like a bad driver.
What controller? X-controller?

I swapped the left and right stepper connectors.
I made sure that the left stepper works. When checking, the right one stopped working.
After that, I checked each wire with a tester. The wires are not broken.
Probably a problem in the X-CONTROLLER

Then call Inventables (send email if you dont make phone contact) for help.
If the board is bad you need a replacement.

It is impossible to get through to them - only an answering machine. I tried to write on Facebook in their group, but they just delete my posts. I don’t see any help from their side.

I got through. He asked to answer my letters - no answers.

They answered without even reading what I wrote to them earlier. They recommended me to do what I did yesterday to them in a letter about it I wrote to them. And they also wrote that it takes 24 hours to wait for an answer. As I understand it, tomorrow is the next ONE answer)))

There’s not much they can do aside from selling you a new board. The motor drivers are not (easily) replaceable.

There are no problems with a stepper.
There is no signal from the controller.
I wrote above what I was doing.

I swapped the left and right stepper connectors.
I made sure that the left stepper works. When checking, the right one stopped working.
After that, I checked each wire with a tester. The wires are not broken.
Probably a problem in the X-CONTROLLER
