When a design has elements that can’t be cut with the selected bit, or if there are large areas that could be cut faster with a larger bit, have easel offer to split the design into several passes with the user changing bits in between. Easel would display each pass as a different color. Lets say for example you were doing a sign where you wanted raised lettering inside a long rectangular box. Easel could break that down so that a larger bit could do most of the grunt work. Then go in with a smaller bit to finish the details of the letters.
That’s great, but it could be more automatic. It already tells me that the design can’t be cut with the current bit, offer to break it into different cuts. Or when you go to simulate the cut, offer to the user to optimize the cut by splitting it into different cuts for better speed or accuracy.
