Order of bits for carving and cutting

Hi all,

I want to carve acrylic and when finished cut it in a specific way. Unfortunately Easel doesn’t let me choose the V-Bit for carving first and then the single flute bit to cut out my carved piece.
Do I need to create to single sheets which overlap to first carve the acrylic display and then cut it out?
Or is there any suggested / proposed way to do it?

Thanks
Daniel

you can have the control you want by splitting the design into multiple workpieces and assigning the different bits to the different workpieces.

I do something very similar here:

Yeah. Exactly. That’s similar to what I thought of. Thanks. Will try it out and update here! :+1:
