Using a V bit for a chamfer on the mounting holes?

There’s a vectric tutorial (I think it’s the wedding rings/Romeo and Juliet) that shows how they do a chamfered mounting screw hole.

Probably easier to do a manual countersink though after the CNC drills the holes.

Kasey… come on now. those numbers look so sad.

Just playing… I don’t even have any numbers on my house.

Yeah they are but it’s a rental property. I’d still like to change it though

I guess the texture footpath you just used a wood grain bitmap?

So for the pocket area, did you just use a 60deg v-bit for the whole area? I’m still trying to learn the do’s and don’ts, best bits for each task, etc. I would have initially thought a 1/4"EM would have been best/quickest for creating that pocket - didn’t realize a v-bit could be just as efficient?
Any recommended initial settings for the texture?

yup boundary offset! Thank you!

Do you mind if I cut this out? I don’t mind changing it up,. mostly did it to learn this texture path for future use.
