Picengrave and Pic sender help

I downloaded the trial for version 6 and every time I try to generate gcode it stops responding and crashes. Tried laptop and desktop. Also using pic sender paid version when I home the machine it starts burning about an inch and half too far right but when cancel it homes further right as well then if I leave it there and run again using that location as home it is spot on from that homing location like my machine home and pic sender homes are different?
