Planing Board

HI everyone, quick question- When planing a board, do I use the thickest part of the board or thinnest for reference. Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance all!

You would want to use the thinest part.I take that back you want to start with the thickest part and take it to the thinest part.

Thanks so much Wayne. I’m really sruggling to get a board planed that is the same height on all 4 corners. Frustrating, to say the least!
