I have searched the forums: There appears to be a number of topics on this for quite a few years. I’m surprised it’s not been addressed yet. So I’m going to throw another vote in via this post.
When doing a cut, Easel seems to at random decide which way to make the cut. But it seems that statistically it likes to choose climb cut more often than conventional. For a machine of this rigidity (or lack thereof), having the ability to choose the method would be really appreciated. I can notice a quality drop when it decides to climb.
I also use MeshCAM & Fusion 360, both of which allow me to choose the method (and I always choose conventional). Easel is free, and that’s great, but this really needs to be an option for the user.
Any hope here?
