I have a brand new xcarve 1000 with the xcontroller and I wanted to know what the max voltage to run on my motors. I was missing steps so I adjusted the potentiometers a little and I could not get them to go to thermal overload. So I just bumped them a little from the factory position. I just want to make sure I don’t cause the motors damage running to much current.

As long as the motor case do not exceed 176degF they will take it, they may take more but there is no point.
Warm is safe, hot is good, bl***y hot borderline, water boiling, step down a little

Thanks Phil. I knew I had seen the voltage on the forums sometime but I looked for ever last night. I gave up at 2:30 in the morning and decided to ask.
