Hello, I have a problem that I could use some help with please. I bought a 500-watt spindle to upgrade my 3018 CNC with. It worked well so I decided to make a box and install the electrics inside with an emergency cut-out button and attach the speed control knob/potentiometer. After attaching everything the potentiometer would not work correctly. When I turned the power on it started at speed and the control only increased the speed a little and I could hardly slow it down. I took everything back out of the box right back to the basics and it still performs the same. Have I killed it somehow or is there something silly I have missed? Any help would be appreciated.
Problem solved with bad wiring at speed controller.
