what do i do when I have a power outage in the middle of a project
Provided you have homing switches intalled, and did a homing cycle before setting your work zero:
- Recarve project from the beginning using “Use previous start position” (read work zero) as this point is stored as an offset relative to homing switches. (Setting a machine zero)
- Depending on the design, you may be able to mask pre-power outage area to omit them from the re-carve.
- One can also edit the gcode, deleting the previous carved portion. This require a little gcode know-how in order to remove the correct bits.
If you didnt do a homing cycle, or have another known reference point available to you the carve is lost unfortunately
