This is such a simple problem to fix, one wonders if there is anyone on the development team that is fixing Easel problems.
We are talking about the scenario where the operator homes the machine and has soft limits set on.
All they would have to do is to ask grbl what the soft limit is for the Z axis, subtract the current Z axis location, and then set the probe limit for that distance. Trivial.
Also, because they mostly ignore input from the user forum for software issues and requests…
I am sorry we made you feel that way - I can guarantee our software team is not purposely ignoring input from the forum around software issues and requests.
