Does anyone else have any problems with the Bosch Colt router shaft?
I’ve already changed the shaft / armature once because it got twisted. Now it happened again, and I was using a 2mm bit so the strain was not significant.
It must be the heat that causes the shaft to twist. And after it gets twisted, the bit comes loose, digs into the workpiece and ruins it.
I’d suggest everybody to stay away from Bosch Colt, although Bosch tools otherwise are excellent.
