has anyone had this problem…ive ruined four projects…somehow the program is changing my depth when i run…ive even ran the first cut as a sample and it did fine…then loaded my work and bam…cuts to different depth…im confused…and yes i triple check everything
I can only assume that your sample material is not as thick as your desired material.
We have to probe z height for every material you put under the machine.
Do the bit return to the exact same height after the carve?
Another suspect is loosing steps when retracting Z, this will make the bit run deeper and deeper.
Make sure everything is smooth mechanically and all set screws are tight/work properly.
