Robert that was me showing him what to look for
So I re-setup everything. For some reason this image will only work if I do it upside down which is fine. I tried 3 other things and they worked perfect. At least it works.
Next time in Easel, when you have jogged the spindle to the intended zero point, open up âMachineâ -> âAdvancedâ -> âMachine Inspectorâ.
In the area âMachine Positionâ there will be an X/Y/Z value listed. The Home position is X/Y/Z=0. If it show anything else it will start wherever 0,0,0 is.
Say it says X=1, Y=1.25, Z=0.25 when you have placed the spindle at the lower left side of your material and you press âCarveâ, the CNC will think it is 1/1,25/0,25" away from zero, repostition to z/y=0 and carve from that point.
You need to reset the machine so 0,0,0 is at your intended start point.
Indeed, I wasnt adressing the differences between machine/work zero - nor intending to.
I tried to simplify as much as possible as his intended work zero wasnt where he wanted it to be
