Is there a reason why when I’am cutting and before it goes to next depth the bit will raise all the way out of the cut line and then go back in. but every once in a time it will continue the cut to the next depth without rasing out of the cut line? just seems to be a waste of time when it does that.

I believe that when a POCKET cut type is used the bit will Stay Down… But when any the 3 “Path” related cut types are used than the bit does retract between cut layers.
Does this align to your experiences?
An Option to use a “stay down” even with these Path options would be really nice, but as of now that’s not something Easel has, unfortunately…
