So seeing that star wars Aztec calendar made me have to make one to! I sealed it with 2 coats of shellac and hit it with some Rust Oleum metallic paint & primer in one. I’m letting it dry for a few days and then my plan is to paint over the thing in black and wipe off the excess with a rag and mineral spirits, sort of like what phil’s tutorial did. The video I watched that they did the same thing calls for black acrylic paint. Wondering if there is a recommended tyoe I should get? As I only have craft acrylic paint from the dollar store.
