has anyone resurfaced a 1000mm x 1000mm waste board of a x-carve if so can I have info how to do it
When I resurfaced my waste board I made a square in Easel 31" X 31" and set the cut dept to .02
I used a 1" bit so I entered that into Easel and also selected RASTER.
This is just how I did mine, other people may have did it different but it worked good for me.

Russell’s method is how it’s done.
For setting the Z-probe reference, I will move my spindle around to the 4 corners of the surface to find the lowest point on the board and set the Z-axis zero point from there.
