Roland cutter for CNC - prototype

Hello everybody!!

Just made a protoype for a Roland cutter to attach to CNC machines…you can find info about it here.

DIY Garageprojects - Roland Cutter!

Below is the two first cuts done in normal A4 paper.

It costs next to nothing to make, and I am just starting to grasp the potential…gonna have a lot of fun with this one  Hope you like it, if you have any questions let me know!!

Sorry, the page you were looking for in this blog does not exist.

Looks awesome. Can I ask what the Xcarve Settings are? feed rate, depth… Thanks

Dead @TonyNo ? Can you please try again, I just tested it. Hm…

Here is the URL for the blog itself

Hi @psharley
I do not have an X-carve anymore but a custom cnc. I also do not use easel but Estlcam. However it should be no problems doing this with easel. Just create a tool with as small diameter as possible (I used 0.1mm). Then make a cut 0.1mm deep.

I used federate of 600mm/minute.
