Hey all,
I’ve been using a 1/8 2 flute straight end mill to cut out shapes in oak 3/4 to 1 inch.
What are some long lasting bits that are comparable and where can I find them
I’ve used these in Walnut and Hard Maple (and pine, plywood, & Mdf) with good results:
I’m sure the Amana Spektra coated ones will last longer, but does the price difference make up for that difference in tool life?

Flat-bottomed knives are mainly used for contour cutting, plane milling, area rough engraving, surface rough engraving, etc.
