Safety height final run to work 0

Is there a way to change the G code so when the project is done and it returns to work zero the bit will raise up farther than it currently does? I have inadvertently broke 2 1/8" bits in the recent months as it returns home and catches my clamp.

I am hoping there is a way so it is just the final run.

Can you open up the Gcode file in MS Notepad or some other text editor and change the last Z+ before it goes home, to a Z+ that raises it up higher? For instance if it says G0Z0.25…you could change it up to G0Z1.25 and it’ll be 1" or mm higher than the original height for that line of code.
