Selecting/inputting a bullnose bit and/or tapered ballnose bit in Easel?

Hello,

Can anyone let me know how I can either select or input the dimensions of my bullnose or tapered ballnose bit in Easel? Is it even possible in Easel, or do I need to do this in another software and bring the G-Code into Easel?

Thanks in advance.

Emmett

Not something Easel supports at the moment.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to use a ballnose bit in easel?

Thanks for the clarification.

Hi Neil,

I don’t have a specific purpose yet, I just wanted to know if it was possible to input more specific bit information into Easel.

Cheers!

It is not.

Nothing preventing you to use a ballnose but Easel won’t generate a path with that in mind.
I made a round jewellery box for my daughter using a 4mm radius bit for the inside pocket, nice radius between floor/wall and a nice decorative swirl pattern on the floor.

You could use that bit to make a dip bowl.
