You can send directly from VCarve. When you installed the software, you should have been given the opportunity to install VTransfer. There is not a lot of information on how to use it. I have only used it a couple of times, but it did work. I had to kind of play around and figure it out.
I recently bought a copy of VCarve 9.5, and it indeed has a built-in XCarve post processor in either inches or mm and was planning to start off using Easel to send my saved gcode toolpaths. Or am I mixing up the feature to send direct to the machine which I didnât feel ready for???
Iâm just finishing building my tool database with tool specs more in line with what the XCarve can handle. Then I was going to run a few âfairly simpleâ toolpaths to validate the incorporation of VCarve into my workflow.
Just wondering if you would care to share why you didnât like the VCarve sender.
