Definitely give INventables a call or email… they should send you a replacement. Fortunately, its not a dealbreaker and you can still carve away…

I believe, based on the pictures, what you are using as the back for inserts is actually the front. I think the “notch” part is supposed to let the drag chain move for the Y axis. I never assembled my side board but based on pictures I’ve seen others post, the orientation appears wrong which would mean they might have drilled it wrong. Inventables support should be able to identify that for sure.
