I made this out of 1"x6" select pine and used acrylic paint to finish it. My wife chose the colors, so I can’t take credit for that. I feel like I went a little too deep with the cutout (.2), so next time I’ll stick with around .08-.1 for depth of cut. Overall, I’ve had a lot of positive comments about it on Facebook and Instagram. I’m happy with how it turned out, and I love my CNC! I made this in Easel, by the way. I found the image on Google and used the Image Trace tool. I love that thing.

The way I look at it, it’s unnecessary wear and tear on the bits. The effect is still the same, just a little less dramatic. Plus, I’ll cut my carve time significantly. Thanks for the compliment, Robert!
