[Solved] How to program a dado cut with easel?

Can I do this with just easel?

Absolutely, just make a square pocket for the depth of the dado. If you have the bit run one full bit diameter off the material on both sides, it should be perfectly straight all the way across.

Thanks, Robert --That was easy-- I guess I have to think out of the box alittle more:) Thanks a lot. Sam

I have also done with manually via the jogging controls as well.
Simply turn the spindle on, and have at it.
I actually find this to be sometimes quicker than designing something up.
The same concept can be used to plane wood, or make half lap joints.

Nice Thanks.

I use MDI through UGCS, easy to do without doing a lot of designing.
