I was an original spindle guy myself switched to a palm router - had a Ridged and Bosch palm router so I got the Bosch mount over buying a 3rd router still was down waiting on the mount. Many of us have had a bit of downtime in regards to a stock spindle, a collet reducer not working well (Bosch had no good options I could find) or brushes wearing out - I gave up on the palm router last night and ordered a 1.5KW Spindle with VFD the Water Cooled unit was my solution and they are amazingly quiet. I hope they figure this into an option in the future.
