My spindle is really loose and wobbles. I too it out and tried to figure out where the issue was coming from but couldn’t figure a way for the wheels to tighten down more than they are. This is creating some serious carving issues and I have 2 projects that need to go out this week. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your V wheels are loose.
There are 4 wheels and 2 of them have eccentric axels.
They need to be rotated until the V wheel is snug on the rail and then the nut on the backside needs to be tightened.
