Hi everyone,
I’m using an AnoleX desktop CNC machine, and I’ve encountered a recurring issue during the roughing pass of my 3D model cuts. At the end of the roughing pass, the spindle unexpectedly plunges the bit deep into the material. The plunge is so severe that the bit gets stuck and doesn’t even manage to push through the material.
This happens consistently across multiple STL models, so it doesn’t seem to be specific to just one design. I’m using the roughing pass g-code generated from Easel, and I’ve linked the project below for reference:
I’ve also attached a photo to illustrate where the bit plunges into the material.
What I’ve Tried So Far:
- Tested with several different STL models (same issue persists).
- Checked the g-code but didn’t notice any obvious errors.
I’d appreciate any advice on how to troubleshoot or resolve this issue. Could it be a problem with my g-code, machine calibration, or something else?
Thanks in advance for your help!
