With some great help from the forums, I cut this today after doing some PhotoShop on the original logo. Fairly happy with it as this was my 5th or so carve. I combined two cuts, 1st with a 1/8 straight and the 2nd with a 60 degree vbit. I then used Offsetter (thanks for the advice) and it drew an outline that I used to cut it out.
I am planning on sanding and then painting it and finally installing the clock to see how it works. Here are the finished images and the original logo I used.
