When I’m jogging the XYZ to work zero, trying to move Z axis up and down does not work reliably.
Using the keyboard to move the axis up sometimes moves the spindle down, and vice versa, using the keyboard to move the axis down sometimes moves the spindle up.
Any ideas as to why this may be the case?
Turns out the black wire for the Z motor wasn’t making proper contact in the terminal. These wires are so stiff they’re hard to keep in place. Gonna probably make a harness and plug connector to address that.
Soldered on spade connectors are your bestest friend in this case.
