Two Stage Carving - Newbee [2nd pass offsets to the right]

Hi guys,

New at this but after a few days and plenty of attempts I can’t get two stage carving to work. It NEVER lines up, the second cut is ALWAYS offset (about a mm+ to the right.

Any help appreciated.

Is your x or y axis moving during bit change?

If you move the router while changing bits, you will be off. If you HOME your machine after changing to the detail bit, the machine should start at the location of the last x, y .
