I use Carvey for PCB milling and run a lengthy series of gcode files to produce a board. The filename showing at the top of the window does not update for each gcode file, but remains showing the first gcode filename which was run after Easel was opened for the session. It would be helpful to have the last filename shown.
I don’t understand what you mean. What is it that you are renaming? The sequence I use it to open Easel, then run several different gcode files in sequence on the same material. Each gcode file has a different name, but the top of the Easel window keeps the name of the first gcode file rather than changing to reflect the name of each one that I run.
Thanks for your comments. I understand ‘why’ it is happening. I am asking for a change which I think would be helpful.
