USB issues on Arduino uno in Windows 7

Hello all,
Let me start by saying I have the Uno running on my Win 10 laptop and working fine.
I now have a dedicated computer running windows 7. I installed UGS and tried to connect the Uno USB and it seems as though the USB is blocking it. I have installed CH341 driver, still nothing. Totally disabled the firewall still nothing. I’m sure I am doing something wrong or missing something.
Any ideas?

Try any other USB ports and check in device manager in ports section Adruino should be listing as COM XX and same you should add manually in Adruino software than you will connected in UGS

I had forgot to install the Arduino software.
now working.
