Evening All,
So I set up a simple sign with 90 degree 6mm V carve bit for the letters. If I set it to cut 1.5mm deep it takes 34 minutes (according to simulate).
If i set the depth of cut to 3mm, it only takes 16 minutes.
How can this be?

It probably does the 3mm cut in 1 pass.

A flat bottom pocket used microscopic stepovers. Where as a full V shaped bottom pocket does not perform these stepovers.
