Continuing the discussion from Custom made vacuum fixtures!:

So are the pockets cut into the top of the box specifically for the pieces of wood that you are cutting or are they general purpose? Have you tried putting different shaped materials in there and covering up the unused holes?

Anyone else make some interesting fixtures to hold down their materials?

The pockets that I cut into the top of the box are for a specific size of wood I did that so that the wooden blank would have positive stops on all 4 sides just in case the vacuum can not hold it down strong enough

you can cover up the unused holes with plastic or tape
