Vacuum recommendations?

Is it reasonable to use a regular wet dry vac for the dust collection system? Or are there certain devices that work best? Thanks in advance!!

I purchased a fien, a dust extractor and a barrel to attach it to. The Fien had the lowest decibel.

I converted to a 2hp dust collector from harbor freight that i found on offerup for cheap, and built my own thein baffle on a 30gallon metal trash can a my 1st stage seperator. I barely ever get any dust into the filter.
