my 1st time to do vcarve pro and was very frustrating.
does it matter if my material is a particle board?
this was the settings. should i lower the feed rate, z safe, plunge rate?

If that is the particle board that has the film on it like they use in cheap shelving and desk and such it is a pain to work with as it is full of voids and seems to be of a lower grade than plain particle board from the lumber yard. I have done vcarve and 3d cutting on plain particle board and for the most part everything has came out fine but the other stuff was a no go. Don’t know your lumber prices for your area but here a 4x8 sheet of 3/4 mdf is just under $30 and goes a long way

i just tried it on that particle board since that’s the same thing i used for end mill carving.
i know now that they’re not for v carving at all.
