I can’t afford a linear Z right now but would like to upgrade from the one that came with my now 1000mm upgrades Shapeoko 2. Anyone thats done the Z conversion want to sell the belt drive Z parts that came with the later X carves?
I do have a Linear z I got on eBay. It has the same thread screw as the stock x carve. It also has delrin linear bearings. I would sell it for $80. You would have to drop your own mounting holes.
