What type of bit for cherry/epoxy

I have a cherry plank and with an epoxy river through the middle, about an inch thick. I am planning on cutting out 4-6" disc that will be half wood half epoxy with a .65" hole in the middle. I will have to sand edges when I’m done.

My question is to use a spiral upcut or a fluted bit. not sure which would enter the product most efficiently to both the wood or epoxy.

Any suggestions on what bit to use?
Thanks Brian
