I find the cheap bits from China with 6 mm shanks on eBay. Just search for 6mm bits. There are hundreds of listings for every type of bit. Most are $5 or less with free shipping.

perhaps a better question is what “Name brand” bits are both cost effective and reliable. or are the no name brand ones decent enough. and if so where should you source those. :wink:

ive heard good things about Niagra bits. you can find them on Amazon for between 6-10$ ea

He has a good choice of bits for composite materials that are quite difficult to find (diamond cut router with fishtail end).

I can highly recommend yonico on ebay (precision bits.com) as a seller.
Yonico is a great brand and precision bits is also reliable and gives great service.
I will sertently buy more from him/them.
In my first buy from them i was missing one bit and ebay calculated way to high shipping.
The reply was a big sorry and they sent me new bits for free :+1:t2:

I also have twice purchased bits from drillman1 on Ebay. I live in NY and he is in Texas I believe. The first order arrived in 3 days. The 2nd order took over a week but that wasn’t his fault. For some reason, my order was delayed at a Post Office while en-route. I’m not a fan of shipping by USPS because of the delays and strange path that is sometimes taken to get things to you but sometimes it’s cheaper than the other shippers that are available.
