which router is best the dewalt 611 or the makita. need to replace my dewalt dw611

It depends.
There are pros and cons to both and unless your uses make one of these pros/cons into a deal breaker than it is a complete toss-up.
List is not ALL of them, just the main ones that come to mind.

Makita Pros:
Slower Min RPM
Easier to Change Brushes

Cons:
No LED light at the bottom
The Collet doesn’t snap into the Nut causing it to occasionally want to stick up in the shaft.
