Who needs supports?

I just set the depth of carve to within a fraction of a millimeter, usually half, of the full depth of the work piece, and I get just a thin bit of wood still holding the pieces together.

Also know as an “onion skin”

Why not use tabs and have less to clean up?

What do you mean less cleanup? I have to cut tabs, then sand them down, CAREFULLY. With this onion skin as NeilFerreri called it, I just need a couple passes of the sandpaper and its gone. Way easier.
