Well I thought spell checking was a forum function.
That’s what I get for thinking.
As it turns out it is a browser function.
Got a new Lenovo laptop and spell checking was not installed.

Some forum software do have auto correct (plug-in) functions, but it’s mostly a browser or OS thing.
Not a fan of windows but windows 10 does include a basic spell check feature for when you type words anywhere in windows 10. When “autocorrect misspelled words” is turned on in settings, it will autocorrect your typed words on the fly as long as the word is in the computers dictionary.
